Serra Brazil

For this project, the Master Riggers at Budco put the artwork, consisting of numerous plates weighing over 80,000lbs each, and tools on a boat headed for Brazil. They met the artwork at the port, inspected it, and loaded it onto trucks for transportation to the site. The artwork was then set in position to the artist’s specifications on site and cleaned.

Matthew Barney – Munich

The Master Riggers at Budco traveled all the way to Munich, Germany to rig multiple sculptures by Matthew Barney into position in a museum. Budco ensured that they were properly protected during their travels and carefully set them into their exact final positions.

Dan Colen Box Trucks

The Master Riggers at Budco were contracted by an artist to fabricate steel frames for two box trucks so they could be stood on end. We completed several test lifts at our own facility before transporting them to their final location for installation.

Jim Hodges Boulders

Budco’s Master Riggers received the artwork at our warehouse. We then designed and fabricated custom steel frames for their transportation and rigging. Then, they were protected and loaded for shipping to the gallery. Floor protection was set down and the artwork was rigged into position to the artist’s specifications using forklifts and our 400 Ton Jacking Gantry System.

Sweet Violence MoMA

The Master Riggers at Budco removed the installation of Sweet Violence at MoMA, re-crated & protected it before returning it to storage.

Dan Colen’s “Brick Wall”

A slideshow of the “Brick Wall” exhibit we transported and installed at the Gagosian Gallery. Dan Colen’s “Brick Wall” was rigged into position using Jacking Gantries.
